Rufus Wainwright
Rufus Wainwright, born July 22, 1973 in Rhinebeck, New York, is an American-Canadian singer, musician and songwriter. He is the son of Loudon Wainwright III and Kate McGarrigle. He is the older brother of Martha Wainwright and nephew of Anna McGarrigle. Wainwright told in his early teens that he is gay. He has a history of drug problems. For many, Wainwright is best known for her interpretation of Leonard Cohen's song Hallelujah from the movie Shrek.
