Ett av världens mest framgångsrika rockband, Red Hot Chili Peppers – bestående av sångaren Anthony Kiedis, bassisten Flea, trummisen Chad Smith och gitarristen Josh Klinghofer – har sålt över 60 miljoner album, varav fem multiplatinum-säljande album. De har vunnit sex Grammy Awards, däribland ”Best Rock Album” för ”Stadium Arcadium”, ”Best Rock Performance By a Duo or Group” för ”Dani California”, ”Best Rock Song” för ”Scar Tissue” och ”Best Hard Rock Performance With Vocal” för ”Give It Away”. Bandet valdes in i Rock and Roll Hall of Fame i april 2012.
