Refused

Refused is a Swedish hardcore band from Umeå that existed primarily during 1992-1998 but has reunited for a series of gigs around the world in 2012. The band was formed in Umeå in January 1992 with Dennis Lyxzén, David Sandström, Pär Jaktholm and Jonas Lidgren as members. They became very famous for his revolutionary texts that dealt mainly with Marxism, animal rights and the so-called straight edge, a life without drugs and alcohol.
