Avantasia

Det var 2001 som Edguy-sångaren Tobias Sammet sjösatte sitt stora projekt Avantasia. Då kom debutplattan som fick namnet The Metal Opera. Sedan dess har ett stort antal namnkunniga musiker deltagit på Avantasias skivor och turnéer. Bland de som deltagit under åren kan namn som Michael Kiske, Kai Hansen, Eric Singer, Timo Tolkki, Sharon den Adel, Ronnie Atkins och Bob Catley nämnas.
