Il Volo
Imagine three teenagers meeting on an Italian TV show and together creating a sound that makes the entire world stop and listen—that is the incredible beginning of Il Volo's story. Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto, and Gianluca Ginoble united in 2009 on the show Ti lascio una canzone, and since then, their journey has taken them from the smallest villages in Sicily to the grandest stages in New York and Tokyo. By blending classical opera with modern pop, in what they call "operapop," they have managed to win the Sanremo Festival with "Grande Amore" and became the first Italian group to be signed by a major American label. Seeing them live is to witness technical perfection and a heartfelt friendship that shines through every aria, especially now as they celebrate their 15th anniversary with the brand-new album Ad Astra (2024/2025).
