Lorde

Lorde, born Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor on November 7, 1996, in Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand, is a New Zealand singer and songwriter. She is known for her unconventional style of pop music and introspective songwriting, and has been referred to as the "Queen of Alternative Music." Lorde first gained recognition as a teenager after a talent show and released her first EP, The Love Club, in 2012. Her debut album Pure Heroine was released in 2013 and became a major success both critically and commercially. She has won several awards, including two Grammy Awards.
